EMF Explained

Home/Store/EMF Explained

Natural electromagnetic fields occur mainly as thermal radiation (infrared), visible light or ultraviolet radiation from the sun. Fire and lightning are also sources of electromagnetic fields. Also Bioelectrical signals help to regulate many processes of the human body. In fact, science suggests that every cell in your body might have its own EMF.

However, strong artificial EMFs from our home devices i.e. mobile phones to hairdriers interfere with the natural way your body works. The highest levels inside the house would be from Wi-Fi routers or router extenders, and cordless phone base stations. This can affect virtually any system within your body, from your sleep cycles to your stress levels to your immunities to your DNA.

"Extensive research has been conducted into possible health effects of exposure to many parts of the frequency spectrum including mobile phones and base stations. All reviews conducted so far have indicated that exposures below the limits recommended in the ICNIRP (1998) EMF guidelines, covering the full frequency range from 0-300 GHz, do not produce any known adverse health effect. However, there are gaps in knowledge still needing to be filled before better health risk assessments can be made."

It's clear much more research has to be done. Much more questions and answers can be found here by EMF Explained 2.0.
